MD1 Mew Drive

A standard valve building block was called a Mu Amp (or SRPP). It is impractical to build this valve circuit into a pedal, so we use JFET transistors (The JFET is a type of transistor that operates in a similar way to a vacuum tube) instead of tubes, and connect them in this Mu Amp configuration, then connect several of these Mu Amps in series for maximum gain.
There are several pedals available based on this type of circuit, and while ours is similar (they are all based on this classic valve circuit after all), we have added our own tweaks and we think you will notice the difference
PURR controls the amount of gain from the first stage, BASS, MID and TREBLE are a classic 3 knob tone stack as found in almost every valve amp. VOLUME adjusts the overall volume out of the pedal
