GF1 Gain Fecker
We at Mozztronics like a bit of angry dirt, well lets face it, a lot of angry dirt. We set out to make the angriest, dirtiest pedal we could, something that really chugs with drop tuned power chords. We put everything inside this beast. A Jfet mu amp, a CMOS rail to rail op amp, a CMOS digital section running in linear mode, a germanium noise gate, an amp style 3 band eq. This has a big mid scoop built in. We added an internal link if you want less mid scoop. Set the link to SCP for scooped, or BYP to bypass the scoop. The classic “Nordic” metal sound is heavily mid scooped.
FECK controls the amount of angry dirt, BASS is 30Hz, MID is 300Hz, TREble is 3hKz, VOL is the master volume for the dirty signal. The RED LED indicates the effect is ON.
The 3 band eq is an “amp style” eq, so start with all eq controls on maximum and bring them down as desired.
This pedal is made for high gain noises, to really feck up your clean guitar and make it angry and dirty. Don’t be afraid to set the FECK control on maximum and leave it there.
