Ancient Bend II
The Ancient Bend II features three new old stock (NOS) germanium transistors, hand tested and matched to achieve the best possible fuzz sounds. This version of the classic bended fuzz has been adapted with dependable modern features including a soft-touch relay bypass system, top mounted switchcraft jacks, and the ability to run off standard pedal power supplies (the use of a high quality isolated power supply is highly encouraged).
While the Ancient Bend II effortlessly provides traditional crushing fuzz tones, I really appreciate its ability to provide tighter broken up sounds. Don't be afraid to roll down your guitar volume to explore some of the more emotionally charged crunch sounds available.
Fuzz: Turn clockwise for more saturated sounds, turn counter-clockwise for clearer crunch/overdrive.
Flow: Adjusts the character of the fuzz. Full clockwise will give the traditional full on fuzz sound, but lowering the flow can make the volume knob on your guitar more interactive, reduce noise, and produce more gated and staccato textures.
